From the Principal
I am excited about joining the Hephzibah High School family! The students, faculty, staff, parents and the community have made me feel welcome and at home here. Hephzibah High School is a great place to be and together we can accomplish great things for our young people.
I am sure you have noticed that there are several changes this year such as the 9 week grading period and early release days added to the school calendar. These are initiatives by the school system to improve student achievement and provide professional learning opportunities for faculty and staff. As with everything we do, these are designed to help improve the academic achievement of our students.
We have adopted a new motto at Hephzibah High School: “Rebels with a Cause” - Excelling on the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT); Excelling on the End of Course Tests (EOCT); and making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). Our teachers, staff and students are working hard and I am confident that we will accomplish our goals.
Remember to use I-Parent and if you have not been registered yet, please contact the school. Also, if you have a concern, problem, or issue, please feel free to contact me. Again, I am glad to be a part of the Hephzibah family and look forward to a successful school year for our young people and our school! Walter Reeves
