Reading, Literature, and Composition centered on the art of persuading someone to see your point of view! We will start with an examination of how the media is used to persuade us to buy certain products or convince us that one group's opinion is preferable to another's; we will then enter into an examination of persuasive short stories, poetry, and the Greek tragedy of "Antigone." And that's just for starters!!
